Volunteering to record audiobooks for children

In August, volunteers from SCREEN HD Korea participated in recording and reading children’s audiobooks. Around 20 employees, divided into four teams, worked together to create the audiobooks. The audiobooks were later shared with kindergartens and welfare facilities supporting children with visual impairments.
The stories included familiar favorites among Korean children, such as “Five Peas in a Pod” and “My First Bicycle.  ” Participants shared that acting as a voice performer was a novel and unforgettable experience, as well as their hope that their voices might help spark imagination in the children.
We plan to continue activities that support local communities and create moments of joy. We hope this initiative serves as a small but meaningful step toward bringing the enjoyment of stories to many more children.
