Created by the global index and data provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index is designed as an industry neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan. FTSE Russell evaluations are based on performance in areas such as Corporate Governance, Health & Safety, Anti-Corruption and Climate Change. Businesses included in the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index meet a variety of environmental, social and governance criteria. SCREEN has been chosen for inclusion in the index since 2017.

FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index
The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index is designed as a sector neutral benchmark that reflects the performance of companies demonstrating specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in Japan. The index selects companies with higher ESG Ratings within the top 50% of each sector and supports climate transition to a low carbon economy by evaluating companies’ climate governance and climate change efforts via the Transition Pathway Initiative’s Management Quality Score. SCREEN has been chosen for inclusion in the index since 2022.

The MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index
The MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index is designed to represent the performance of companies that have high ESG performance. The index targets coverage of 50% of each Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS®) industry sector from among the constituents of the parent Index (MSCI Japan IMI Index). SCREEN has been chosen for inclusion in the index since 2024.

The S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index
The S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient is designed to measure the performance of companies in the Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX), (the “underlying index”), while overweighting or underweighting those companies that have lower or higher levels of carbon emissions per unit of revenue. SCREEN has been chosen for inclusion in the index since 2018.
CDP
CDP is a British non-governmental organization that administers a global information disclosure system designed to allow investors, corporations, nations, regions, and cities to manage their own environmental impacts. SCREEN earned an evaluation of “A-” for climate change and “B” for water security in the CDP’s FY2025 report.
SOMPO Sustainability Index
This actively managed index is uniquely constructed by combining stock valuation with ESG scores derived from the “Environmental Management Survey” and “ESG Management Survey.” It comprises approximately 300 stocks with outstanding ESG ratings. SCREEN has been included in this index since 2018.
The iSTOXX MUTB Japan Platinum Career 150 Index
The iSTOXX MUTB Japan Platinum Career 150 Index tracks the performance of 150 Japanese companies that actively contribute to employee career development. A platinum career score is calculated for each company by evaluating three aspects of the company: long term view, active learning and social contribution. SCREEN has been chosen for inclusion in the index since 2023.
Health & Productivity Stock Selection
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) select companies listed on the TSE in recognition of outstanding health-conscious management as "Health & Productivity Stock Selection." SCREEN has been recognized for three consecutive years since 2024.
Certified Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations Recognition Program (large enterprise category)
Under the certification program jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council), SCREEN has been continuously certified as a "Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations" since 2018 for practicing excellent health management, and has been recognized as a "Health & Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations: White 500" for four years in a row.
NIKKEI Sustainable Management Survey, SDGs Edition
This survey makes comprehensive evaluations of companies’ SDG management using a five-star scale based on the four categories of SDG strategy and economic value, social value, environmental value, and governance. SCREEN received a 4-star rating on the survey results announced in November 2025.
NIKKEI Sustainable Management Survey, Smart Work Edition
In this survey, “Smart Work Management” is defined as a management strategy that aims to maximize corporate value by optimizing talent utilization, etc., and accelerating investment in human resources to achieve further innovations and increase productivity. SCREEN received a 3.5 out of 5-star rating on the survey results announced in November 2025.
