Kyoto, Japan – June 1, 2023 – On May 31, 2023, SCREEN Semiconductor Solutions Co., Ltd. won the  “Excellence Award” for the inspection device “ZI-3600” in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment category for the Semiconductor of the Year 2023, an event held by the Electronic Device Industry News of Sangyo Times Co., Ltd.

 

The Semiconductor of the Year is an annual event founded 29 years ago, where products and technologies are selected for an award by the newspaper's journalists based on their social impact and future potential.

“ZI-3600” is a wafer inspection system instrumental to the stable production of next-generation power devices. It contributes toward achieving a carbon neutral environment that aims to reach zero greenhouse gas emissions. The capability of providing high-resolution inspection while being highly productive received acclaim and was selected for the “Excellent Award.”
