Transaction printing and direct mail
With the growth of one-to-one marketing optimized based on customer demographic and behavior data,
the content of printed materials must also be variable in order to target individuals.
This is where inkjet printing technology shines.
SCREEN GA led the industry with the release of the Truepress JET520 roll-fed full-color digital printing system in 2006, enabling on-demand, full-color printing of personalized notices.
Since then, we have continued to expand and evolve our lineup alongside the growth of direct marketing utilizing customer data.
These achievements led to our inclusion in the 2020 Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100,
a selection by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of companies that have been highly successful in their respective global niche markets.
Books, magazines, catalogs, and other publishing and commercial printed materials are produced mainly using offset printing.
SCREEN GA boasts one of the top global market shares in the CTP equipment used to create the plates essential for such offset printing.
At the same time, we are pioneering digital printing technologies. Through these efforts, we have developed proprietary ink that enables inkjet printing directly onto offset coated paper.
We also provide inkjet printing systems that offer both beautiful color and high productivity on par with offset printing.
We will continue to actively promote the digital transformation of commercial printing, a field that offers tremendous potential, as we redefine industry standards.

Flexible packaging
Many of the food and other products on store shelves come in flexible packaging made from polyethylene or other films.
Consumer diversification is driving demand for the production of flexible packages in greater variety and smaller volumes, and expectations that materials and production methods be environmentally friendly are growing. To meet these needs, SCREEN GA has developed water-based inkjet printing systems for flexible packaging. Our people- and planet-friendly solutions create safe, high-quality flexible packaging.
