Kyoto, Japan – January 15, 2025 – SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (SCREEN GA) has released its new Truepress JET 520NX AD, the next generation of its highly successful Truepress JET 520NX high-speed roll-fed inkjet digital printing system.

Outline

ga_img250130-1.pngIn recent years, businesses have introduced a wide range of initiatives to achieve a more sustainable society by addressing environmental issues, enabling efficient use of natural resources, and creating comfortable work places. These measures often extend beyond the developing company to involve their customers, impacting the structure of society itself.
In the transaction printing field, there has been a growing appreciation of the convenience and efficiency provided by high-speed digital inkjet presses, which also offer excellent compatibility with digital data. This has seen an increasing number of companies adopt the systems. These same digital presses are also enabling the publishing field to shift from a business model in which companies were often forced to discard obsolete stock to one that allows them to produce only the copies they need on demand.
Cases like those above are creating a deeper understanding of the new value that high-speed digital inkjet presses can deliver and this is, in turn, driving a digital transformation in the printing market. SCREEN GA originally released its Truepress JET 520NX in 2016. Thanks to its track record of outstanding quality and stability at high speeds, the system continues to be employed by a large number of companies. This includes users in the transaction market who value its variable printing capabilities, as well as those in the direct mail and publishing markets who rely on it for high-mix, small-lot production.
The success of the Truepress JET 520NX has led SCREEN GA to now launch the Truepress JET 520NX AD. This new model inherits many of the proven features of the Truepress JET 520NX while also offering significant improvements in productivity and enhanced user-friendly functions designed to meet ever-changing market needs.
The Truepress JET 520NX AD is able to meet the most demanding turnaround times with print speeds up to 225 meters per minute1. This throughput is supported by “Truepress ink NP,” an innovative range of high-density, water-based pigment inks that has been specially developed to enable faster output. Improvements to the efficiency of pre-print adjustment work also ensure outstanding overall productivity.

In addition, the new model incorporates SCREEN GA’s proprietary JetInspection function, known for its ability to perform full error scans of all parts of all pages in a job2 with total reliability. The system is also equipped with an automatic nozzle cleaning function that reduces operator workloads while improving productivity, as well as an advanced nozzle control function that provides precise quality correction.
The Truepress JET 520NX AD’s array of new and market-tested features are designed to meet the evolving needs of the transaction and, in fact, most other markets. SCREEN GA plans to unveil the system for the first time with an interactive exhibit at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025, to be held from February 24 (Mon) to 27 (Thu) in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Going forward, SCREEN GA remains dedicated to creating a better and more sustainable world for its clients and all other stakeholders. This mission is part of its commitment to “Enriching lives and continuing to make the world more colorful through print.”
