Main exhibition contents

■Commercial Printing Solutions
gan230919_01.pngSCREEN will highlight technology and samples from its full portfolio of inkjet printing solutions. The Truepress JET series provides production-class digital printing solutions for the commercial printing, direct mail, book printing and transaction markets.
gan230919_02.png Printing live on the show floor will be the Truepress JET 520HD AD, equipped with Truepress SC+ inks. These inks enable printing on offset coated papers without surface treatment, allowing for high-density,vibrant color reproduction. Also showcased will be application samples featuring the in-development Truepress ink NP, a new pigment ink with enhanced black density for the Truepress JET 520NX system.

■Label Solutions
gan230919_03.pngAlso printing live on the show floor will be the Truepress LABEL L350UV SAI press. Earlier this year, SCREEN announced an inline inkjet digital primer solution to enhance ink adhesion on challenging substrates. Printing United will feature the first print samples of the in-development digital primer solution.
SCREEN’s inline solution charts a new path from other priming solutions that are applied as a coating in advance of printing, instead deploying an inkjet printing unit as a primer unit. This maintains print speeds during priming and expands the range of compatible substrates by priming only where ink will be jetted, thereby enabling high-quality printing that leverages the surface texture attributes of the substrate.

■Paper Packaging and Flexible Packaging Solutions
gan230919_04.pngSCREEN will showcase its latest advances in two in-development printing solutions for the packaging market, the Truepress PAC 830F for flexible packaging and the Truepress PAC 520P for paper-based packaging. Both presses are designed to meet the evolving needs of this demanding market, including the short lifespan of package designs driven by product differentiation and the demand for small-batch delivery due to inventory-less operation. Brand owners and packaging providers are requiring shorter lead times and smaller-scale production of flexible packaging while seeking to reduce costs and increase operating efficiencies.
Addressing these challenges and requirements, the Truepress PAC 830F single-pass water-based inkjet digital printing press demonstrates exceptional agility as a production machine. Compared to traditional analog processes, its operational rate for daily printing increases significantly. SCREEN will showcase the latest samples with standard converting processes such as lamination, slitting and pouch creation.

SCREEN is also developing the Truepress PAC 520P inkjet digital printing press for paper-based packaging, which contributes significantly to reducing environmental impact. This system utilizes newly developed water-based pigment inks and complies with food safety regulations for paper packaging. SCREEN will display the latest samples produced with bagging processes.
