SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (SCREEN GA) has developed a high-speed mode for printing on its Truepress Jet520NX roll-fed inkjet system. The mode is available now for both new and existing presses.

Companies operating in the direct mail and transactional printing markets have been seeking higher productivity to boost their output of documents such as letters, forms and invoices. To help meet this growing need, SCREEN GA has developed a high-speed mode for its Truepress Jet520NX system that enables it to print at up to 180 meters per minute.

This mode is field upgradeable and is available to companies that have already installed Truepress Jet520NX systems. Adding the mode to existing presses provides an effective way to increase productivity while minimizing capital investment costs.

An output of 180 meters per minute is equivalent to duplex printing at a speed of around 1,200 A4 or letter sized sheets per minute. This represents productivity far superior to that of cut-sheet digital presses. Companies operating multiple cut-sheet production presses for transaction work can expect to see major improvements in both throughput and efficiency compared to their current setup.
