Televisions, smartphones, in-vehicle displays... In our modern world, these display devices provide us with a wealth of information that is essential to our daily lives.

SCREEN Finetech Solutions’ core business is the development and production of equipment required for the manufacturing processes of various types of display. We have developed resist coating systems capable of uniformly and rapidly layering ultra-thin films, as well as cleaning, bake and developing equipment for pre- and post-processing, and integrated these systems in-line for mass production.

Our first such production system was one we developed for LCD panels in 1976, and as display manufacturing has continued to evolve, we have consistently combined and integrated advanced technologies from many different areas to perfect "layering."  Over the past five decades, our equipment has made a major contribution to the development of information transfer devices.

In recent years, the development of bendable and foldable displays plus light, high-definition OLED panels has led to display devices becoming almost like background scenery in many aspects of our daily lives. With such wide-scale adoption, they have become advanced devices underpinning recent innovations in information transfer technologies.

SCREEN Finetech Solutions is committed to supporting manufacturers as they consistently increase the performance of these display devices by improving their energy efficiency and carbon footprint and adding a wealth of advanced new functionality. Our mission is to constantly enhance our own technologies in line with this development so we can deliver solutions supporting the creation of display devices that provide greater value to society. We expect the advanced devices produced using our delivered solutions to penetrate the future landscape.

At the same time, we are continuing our work to expand applications for the coating and deposition technologies we have created over so many years to the energy sector. One aspect of this is our ongoing development of production technologies for devices that utilize hydrogen as an energy source. 

Each day, we dedicate ourselves to further advancing the unique technologies we have created and to applying them to the production processes of displays that can be found in so many places in our modern world. We see ourselves as a group of "technology artisans" working in tune with current needs who, by utilizing advanced knowledge and ingenuity, provide production systems capable of high-precision layer by layer coating.

We believe society will see lasting benefits from the advanced devices that can be created using our solutions. As we continue to deliver these systems, our goal is to support the development of the devices required for a better future.
