SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (SCREEN GA) has developed the PlateRite 8600MIII, a new thermal CtP model for plates containing eight A4-size pages. The system was launched in April 2026, targeting markets in China, Southeast Asia and surrounding countries.

In recent years, demand for offset printing has remained strong across various segments in the Asian market, including the packaging, publication and commercial fields, and this has kept demand for CtP systems at a similarly high level. SCREEN GA’s newly developed PlateRite 8600MIII is a successor to its highly regarded PlateRite 8600M and PlateRite 8600MII models. The company plans to make it widely available in the Asian market.

The PlateRite 8600M and PlateRite 8600MII have built a strong reputation for reliability as well as simple, user-friendly operation. This has led to a substantial number of installations in the Asian market. SCREEN GA has reengineered the PlateRite 8600MIII in response to the sustained demand for offset printing with the goal of ensuring long-term availability. The system also features optimized specifications to meet market needs, including an expanded maximum plate size.

With the addition of the PlateRite 8600MIII to its existing lineup, SCREEN GA has demonstrated that it will continue to provide highly reliable CtP solutions and contribute to the advancement of the printing industry.
