Their purpose is to reach out to a broader audience and share our corporate activities, technology, products and services, social contribution activities, and other information conveying who we are as a company. 

SCREEN fully recognizes the nature of social media and, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as the terms of service of each platform, operates under the SCREEN Group Code of Conduct. Based on the Social Media Policy prescribed below (hereinafter referred to as “the Policy”) and internal rules, we strive to communicate accurate and appropriate information, aiming to build trust with our stakeholders.

Management policy

Basic policy

1. SCREEN engages in honest communications with stakeholders, fully listening to their voices.
2. SCREEN uses social media with restraint, understanding that information spreads instantaneously once uploaded and the difficulty of deleting it completely.
3. SCREEN does not engage in or participate in any so-called stealth marketing activity and uses social media in a transparent manner.

1. Information shared from the official accounts does not necessarily represent the Company's official view. Please refer to the SCREEN corporate website for its official announcements and views.

8. SCREEN is not obliged to guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of information shared on its official accounts. 
9. SCREEN is not obliged to bear responsibility for any trouble that arises among users or between users and the third party related to its official accounts.
10. SCREEN is not obliged to bear responsibility for any damage done to users or the third party due to a cause related to its official accounts.
11. SCREEN may suspend or terminate the operation of its official accounts, partially or entirely, without prior notice.

Deletion of comments, etc.

1. SCREEN reserves the right to delete or hide the following comments or those judged harmful without prior notice.
   (1)    Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity; expressions that do not align with the legal, social, and ethical standards or norms
   (2)    Hate speech and other offensive, intolerant remarks
   (3)    Defamation or attacks on SCREEN or certain individuals and organizations
   (4)    Contents that infringe on the rights or interests of SCREEN or certain individuals and organizations
   (5)    Political or religious messages 
   (6)    Comments made by an imposter
   (7)    Spam messages
   (8)    Product sales and advertisements unrelated to SCREEN
   (9)    Contents that infringe on the prohibitions set out by the social media platform operators
   (10)  Contents that interfere with the operation of the official accounts
   (11)  Links to harmful contents
   (12)  Other contents that SCREEN judges inappropriate
2. SCREEN may block the user who made any of the actions listed above, and may take further actions including legal actions, if deemed necessary.
3. Although we make the best efforts to monitor our official accounts, we may not always be able to immediately respond to all inappropriate comments. If you have found any comment that infringes on the above policy, please contact us through the "Contact" form accessible from our corporate website.

Intellectual property rights

1. Intellectual property rights pertaining to information displayed or provided through the official accounts (including but not limited to copyrights, design rights, patent rights, utility model rights, trademark rights, knowhow, and ideas) all belong to SCREEN or the owner of the said rights. 
2. Although copyrights associated with contents posted on our official accounts belong to the users who post them, by posting, these users are deemed to grant SCREEN the permanent, royalty-free, and non-exclusive right to use all or part of their posted content (including by reproducing, editing, modifying, translating or extracting, hereinafter the same), and publish or distribute them, and agree not to exercise copyright or other rights on SCREEN.
3. Any information displayed or provided through the official accounts may not be used beyond the scope permitted by applicable laws and regulations or for commercial purposes without prior consent from the SCREEN or the relevant rights holder. 

Handling of personal information

Personal information is handled in accordance with the privacy policy of SCREEN Holdings Co., Ltd. or its group company owning the account.

Revision of the social media policy

SCREEN may revise the social media policy without prior notification to the users. After revision, the latest policy will automatically apply to the use of relevant social media platforms.
