[This version includes the following changes from ver1.10] (1) Canon iPF8000S - Canon iPF8000S is available with proprietary driver. - Dot proof is available (Option) (2) Canon iPF8100 - Canon iPF8100 is available with proprietary driver. - CMYK output mode and CMYK+RGB output mode. - Ink structure of CMYK mode (CMYK, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Photo Gray, Gray) - Ink structure of CMMYK+RGB mode (CMYK, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Photo Gray, Gray, Red, Blue, Green) - RGB ink is consumed also in CMYK mode for head cleaning. - CMYK+RGB mode needs more time than output only CMYK mode. - Dot proof is available (Option) (3) Canon iPF6100 Dot proof - Canon iPF6100 Dot proof is available (Option) (4) EPSON Stylus Pro 9880/7880 - EPSON Stylus Pro 9880/7880 are available. - Dot proof is available (Option) [Limitation in this version] (1) Separation exchange function - If a scatter proof and separation exchange function are used at a same time, a not normal color will come out. Please do not use both functions at a same time. (2) Trueflow cooperation -A tiling function is not available. -A scatter proof function is not available. -A preview function is not available. -Warning and error message occurred with EPSON printer can be displayed on a Trueflow client,but not Canon printer. -Indicate "Progress" till the printer status acquisition is completed with EPSON printer. Actual processing time is same as before. [Option software] Using option software, option license key is required. We send you license key after we getting order for option software. (1) DotProof option - Half-tone DotTIFF is outputted with high quality - Printer: EPSON Stylus Pro 9800/7800,9880/7880,Canon iPF8100,8000,8000S,6100,W8400/W6400, - This option is able to use only with proprietary driver. - When printing resolution is a 720dpi output, slight banding of 1mm pitch may occur on the Bk. (Stylus Pro 9800/7800,9880/7880) - 90degree rotation (anti-clockwise rotation only) (2) Multiple printer option - Possible to output to two or more printers simultaneously. - Calculation time of Dot proof option with multiple printer option needs more - Calculation time than output 8bit data. [Installation] 1. License installation is required when upgrading from previous version. 2. Double click gLabProof SE V1.11.exeh. New LabProof SE is over written on previous version. Important - Do not install LabProof SE V1.11 without having license of Versin1.1. - LabProof SE V1.1 software does not launch without license of Versin1.1. ======================================================== [Required system] (1) Connectable printer - EPSON Stylus Pro 10600UC, 9800, 7800, 9880, 7880, 9600, 7600 - Canon iPF8100, 8000, 8000S, 6100, W8400, W6400, - Canon W8200PG, W6200 (Windows vista is not supported) - HP DesignJet5500 (PS) (Windows vista is not supported) (2) Recommended spectrometer - Xrite i1-iO, i1-iSis, DTP70 (3) Computer specification - OS: Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Business - CPU: PentiumD / 2.8GHz or more, Core2 / 2.4GHz or more - Memory: 1GByte or more [Specification] (1) Specification of printer connection LabProof SE has proprietary driver which enable quality output for the following printers. Necessary to install attached Windows driver beforehand. The connection method with a printer is as follows. - EPSON Stylus Pro 10600UC, 9800,7800,9600,7600 Connection with USB or a network. For connecting with a network, necessary to install a optional network card. - EPSON Stylus Pro 9880, 7880, Connection with USB or a network. - Canon iPF8100, 8000, 8000S, 6100 Connection with USB or a network. - Canon W8400, W6400 Connection with USB or a network. For connecting with a network, necessary to install an optional network. - Canon W8200PG, W6200 Connection with USB or a network. For connecting with USB, necessary to install an optional USB card. - HP DesignJet5500 (PS) Connection with a network. - Other printers LabProof SE is able to output to other type of printer using GDI driver. In this case, functions such as "Keep pure black" function is not available. (2) Multiple printers Although two or more printers are connected by LabProof SE, but cannot output to two or more printers simultaneously. In order to output to two or more printers simultaneously "Multi printer option" is required. (3) File format recommended TIFF file format is recommended. PDF and EPS file is recommended only when output multi-color data. (4) Standard target ICC profile Please use the sample target ICC profile in the "ICC" holder of the Goodies folder of CD-ROM. Put ICC profile in to following paths. "C:\Program Files\DainipponScreen\Common Files\ICC" (5) DIC color guide library To use DIC color guide library, copy following file into C:\Program Files\DainipponScreen\Common Files\CC Files to be copied. "CD-ROM / Goodies / DIC / DIC ColorGuide101.Lab" "CD-ROM / Goodies / DIC / DIC ColorGuide101.OSC" (6) Reference printer profile To use reference printer profile, copy following file into "C:\Program Files\DainipponScreen\Common Files\ICC\Reference Printer Profiles" Files to be copied. "CD-ROM / Goodies / reference printer profile / XXXXXXXX.rfp" Please read a document in the "document" holder of CD-ROM. (7) Connection with Macintosh OS 9 PCMacLan is required. (8) Upgrade and license issue LabProof SE launch by the license key in the dongle. License key is indicated by the following documents enclosed by the product. "LabProof SE License" "LabProof SE license Setting" A dongle number is required at the time to order option software. (9) Demonstration mode LabProof SE demonstrates for 30 days, even if dongle is not connected. The watermark of [SCREEN] is printed at the time of an output. [Notes] (1) Hot holder setup -When setting holder in the RIP to output file as the hot holder of LabProof SE. Check OFF "Scan also subdirectoriesh, if RIP creates another holder in a Hotfolder. -When the file from AD-810 is used, Check ON "Scan only when modifications occur". (2) Color matching accuracy -The maximum of Delta E may get more than 10 some times. It is because of difference in gamut between printing ink and ink-jet ink. -If you set on the function "Keep primary black", the color accuracy of only BK color worsens.
