FT-S5000 Descreening Tool (Trial Version)

¥ Abaut Descreening Tool

 The Descreening Tool is a software package offering functional extensions to the FT-S5000's DotFinder.  
 Applying the Descreening Tool to image data scanned from separation films eliminates the dot patterning on the image and provides continuous tone data. 


¥  Operating Environment

  To use Descreening Tool, the following environment is required. 
* Scanner (FT-S5000)
  ColorScope Pro3 Ver.1.23 or higher, or Color Genius Ver.1.0 or higher.
  DotFinder (a ColorScope/ColorGenius option) must also be installed beforehand. 
* Macintosh 
  OS 8.5 or higher
* Adobe Photoshop 
  Ver.4 or higher

¥ Installation Procedure

1) Start up "Descreening InstE 1.00".  Following the displayed instructions, specify both the destination where you want to install Descreening Tool and the location of the "Import/Export" folder in Photoshop's "Plug-Ins" folder. 

2) When installation of Descreening Tool completes normally, reboot the Macintosh.  An "FT-S5000 Descreening (E)" folder will be created in your previously specified destination.  

3) Set up Photoshop and scanner, accronding to description of  "Descreening(E).pdf" (Operation manual of Descreening Tool).
