ColorGeniusEX V2.08 Updater for FT-S5000

This program upgrades ColorGeniusEX for FT-S5500 V2.02, V2.03, V2.04, V2.05, V2.06, and V2.07 to V2.08.  The modifications included in this program are shown below.  Please update the software after you read the following instructions.
 
 <Note>

Please use ColorGeniusEX V2.08 only in Mac OS X 10.6.

ColorGeniusEX V2.08 doesn't confirm the operation in other OS. Therefore, do not update ColorGeniusEX to V2.08, please.

 


 <Problems in Ver. 2.0.7 and their corrections in Ver. 2.0.8>

- Support Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard"

<Problems in Ver. 2.0.6 and their corrections in Ver. 2.0.7>

- How to name the extension of the image processed by the hot holder has been changed.
 
- The problem that was able to quit Server application has been corrected.

- In Scanning, when a folder to save image of PICT or CT image format is lost, the stability of processing has been improved.
 

<Problems in Ver. 2.0.5 and their corrections in Ver. 2.0.6>

- When output profile is modified in RGB 16bit mode, its profile is stored in RGB 8bit mode. This problem has been corrected.

- The stability of following items is improved.
    - SCSI I/F
    - Saving of TIFF image

- The SCSI I/F part of firmware was changed for the improvement of interchangeability with Adaptec Power Domain 29160N SCSI Card.

- The driver software of PowerDomain 29160N SCSI V1.30 is bundled in "Goodies" folder in CD.

- In Mac OS X, the display of the preview window might not be displayed correctly after prescanning in the reason why the display is not updated well. This problem is improved.

- Operation when several finish styles are selected has been improved.

- When a customized finish style and default style were specified, the customized setting was not applied to the sharpness parameter value. This problem has been corrected.

- The problem whereby ICC profiles were not displayed correctly in the "ColorSync setup" dialog box has been corrected.

- When the display of the finish key word is turned off, the key word might not be able to be customized correctly. This problem has been corrected.

- Trimming in Line Art mode and Dot Finder mode
There was an error-check problem when trimming in Line Art or Dot Finder mode.

- The problem with the file creator setting, in which some applications could not be selected, has been corrected.

- When a grayscale image was saved in an EPS format with a TIFF preview, the black and white in the preview image was reversed. This problem has been corrected.

- Under the Mac OS X 10.2.x environment, the server application could not be started up due to an error. This problem has been corrected.

- The problem with the display of maintenance tools has been corrected under Mac OS X 10.2.x.

- The error message that alerts you of insufficient light intensity in the FT-S has been changed.

- The problem in which ColorGenius EX could not be started up when 2G-byte of memory was installed on a Macintosh computer has been corrected.

- If the file extensions that help the system to identify the type of file were not supplied, the image files could not be opened. This problem has been corrected.
