Defect Verification & Repair System VT-2000
Compact, easy to use standard defect verification and repair system

The VT-2000 is a defect verification and repair system that displays defect data for boards on a monitor, with the aid of inspection data from SCREEN AOI systems.
When the operator places an inspected board on the verification table and enters the board's lot number, the camera automatically moves to the locations of defects on that board, and displays enlarged images of the defect areas on the monitor. The monitor's attachment position has been adjusted to lower the viewing angle, which reduces the strain on the operator during verification.
The table's slant has been increased to 15 degrees, which makes it easier to make repairs to the board. The images captured by the camera are displayed in a larger format than in previous models, and simultaneous display of the master image and a defect map increases operability and makes the condition of the board apparent at a glance. The VT-2000 can be added to existing SCREEN AOI systems as a defect verification and repair system, as necessary to support increased productivity.
FEATURES
- Ergonomic design
- The table slant has been increased from the 10 degrees used in previous models to 15 degrees. This makes it even easier to make repairs, even at the far side of the board.
- The position of the monitor has been lowered, for a better viewing angle and improved operability.
- The LCD monitor can be tilted up, down, right, and left, so the operator can put it in the perfect position for operations.
- Improved functionality
- The images captured by the camera are displayed in a larger format than in previous models, and a master image and defect map are displayed alongside the captured images, which makes everything visible at a glance and increases operation efficiency.
- An automatic light source adjustment function is included.
As the zoom changes, the light source adjusts automatically to ensure optimal lighting for defect verification. Light source "recipes" can also be registered for different types of panels and defects, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of the light source and ensuring optimal lighting at all times. - A new automatic alignment mark registration function has been added. This function reduces the amount of time required to register alignment marks, and supports improved efficiency and tact time.
- A new zoom step function has been added. This function makes it possible to automatically enlarge and view each defect, even when there are multiple DRC defects in a single block. Not only does this improve defect visibility and operation efficiency, it also drastically reduces the risk of missing missing defects.
- Software processing is faster, thanks to the use of a higherlevel control computer. The new computer increases production efficiency and makes defect verification more pleasant.
- The system features a multi -DVD optical drive and a USB 2.0 port, which make it easy to save image and defect total data.
- Compact design
- The VT-2000 boasts a compact, space-saving design. In fact, its footprint is 15% smaller than that of previous models.
- The VT-2000 is also 50% lighter than previous models, which makes it easier to install and move.
- The VT-2000 uses 50% less power than previous models, which significantly reduces electricity costs.
