Mercurex
World's Most Advanced Imaging Quality and Throughput

The Mercurex direct imaging system is a leader in delivering all-round support for a wide range of processes from circuit pattern to solder resist pattern formation. This versatile system now provides even greater functionality thanks to the adoption of a new light source.
FEATURES
- Conventional-resist compatibility
The Mercurex was the world’s first direct imaging system to adopt an ultra-high-pressure mercury lamp as a light source. This provides a wide wavelength band from 350 to 420 nm, enabling continuous use of the same conventional-resists employed in one-shot exposure units. The Mercurex’s ability to deliver multi-purpose support for inner and outer layer as well as solder resist pattern formation has made it a pioneer among direct imaging systems. Since its launch in 2005, the system has gone on to establish a highly impressive sales record.

- Greater throughput and quality
The latest Mercurex incorporates a new lighting system featuring a wider wavelength, which allows it to provide optimum exposure for various resists. As well as increasing imaging quality even further, this provides throughput improvements of up to 23%* over earlier models.

- Improved positioning accuracy
Improvements to the previous correction function algorithm for substrate expansion and contraction will allow the Mercurex to meet the PCB industry’s need for ever greater levels of accuracy. Thanks to the ability to conduct even more precise correction of individual areas based on multi-point alignment, dramatic improvements have been made to the superimposition accuracy. This will help to address the warping that affects various types of substrate
