The UV-LED light source used by the Truepress Jet1600UV-F generates significantly less heat during imaging. This makes the Truepress Jet1600UV-F suitable for high-quality printing onto a variety of media, including heat-sensitive materials, such as acrylic and styrene panels. The Truepress Jet1600UV-F can also handle media up to 50 mm(1.96") thick. The UV-LED light source also lasts a long time and draws little electricity, making the Truepress Jet1600UV-F gentler to the environment.
The Truepress Jet1600UV-F’s newly developed imaging system features eight individual printing heads that support rapid printing. This results in a significant increase in productivity, so you can take on fast-turnaround jobs with confidence.
The Truepress Jet1600UV-F’s new head positioning system, which features a high-resolution linear scale, enables extremely precise dot placement. This makes it possible to print legible 3-point text even in large-size prints, where small text sizes have traditionally been difficult to output well.
In addition to offering a maximum resolution of 1,200 X 1,200 dpi, variable droplets make it possible to reproduce up to seven different dot sizes. This means that the Truepress Jet1600UV-F's four-color printing results in smooth tints and gradations, as well as sharp reproduction of small text.
The Truepress Jet1600UV-F uses two different types of UV ink, one for flexible media and the other for rigid media.
The flexible UV ink can be stretched to up to 200% of its original length, as well as cast or bent. This ink is ideal for printing onto white media, such as is used in packaging, POP displays, life-size panels and more.
The rigid ink has a hardness that makes it resistant to friction and chemicals. It is particularly well suited for aluminum composite panels and decorative illuminated film.
The Truepress Jet1600UV-F is suitable for an even wider range of applications when white ink is used. The addition of white ink ensures high-quality color output, even when transparent and colored media are used. It’s also ideal for metallic media, such as aluminum. What’s more, itcan be used alone on transparent media such as window films. White ink ensures vivid color reproduction no matter what media is used.
