The DR-5500-FIII has the ability to meet the needs of a wide variety of fields from the PCB and photomask through to liquid crystal and touch panel industries. This flexibility allows DR series to be sold in excess of 1,000 units. Incorporating Dainippon Screen's vast experience in image processing and precision measurement technology, it provides fast, high-precision automated measurement of fine circuit patterns on PCB and photomask. Illumination and viewing system hardware can be selected to match the application, making it an extremely cost-effective system. For example, when working with ITO films and similar thin films on which contrast can be difficult to perceive, a quarter-wave plate* can be used to visualize phase difference and thereby identify patterns. *Option

      Dainippon Screen's proprietary image processing function detects PCB edges and performs high-precision measurement for tops and bottoms of targeted object.

      The registration of a target image allows the specification of high-precision measurement points.
